Autism Awareness Day
World Autism Acceptance Day is an internationally recognized day on 2 April every
year, encouraging Member states of the United Nations to take measures
to raise acceptance about people with autism throughout the
world.
Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by
troubles with social interaction and communication, and by restricted
and repetitive behaviour. Parents
usually notice signs in the first two or three years of their child's life.
